Where to base yourselves, which resorts get the kids’ clubs right, and which trips work for ages 4 to 14.
Where to base yourselves
Ozdere first, Cesme second, Selcuk for the history-keen
For a beach week with kids, Ozdere is the easiest answer: short transfer, all-inclusive resorts that genuinely include children, and small village restaurants for the nights you want to escape the buffet. Cesme is for older kids and longer trips. Selcuk works if Ephesus is part of the plan.
Practical
What to look for in the hotel
- Kid’s club with proper hours, not “available on request”
- Pool with a dedicated children’s area, not just a roped-off corner
- A la carte restaurants on top of the buffet, with kid-friendly menus
- Family rooms or interconnecting doors, not “child sofa bed”
- Easy beach access without crossing a road

Things to do beyond the resort
A few day trips that work for kids
Ephesus is fine for ages 8 and up if you start early and finish before lunch. The Sirince fruit-wine tasting plus a horse-and-cart ride works for younger ones. Sea Park Cesme has a wave pool and slides for the inevitable rain day.
